The public is invited to learn more and provide feedback about the replacement for the George Massey Tunnel and how environmental impacts during construction will be managed now that the application for the project’s environmental assessment certificate has been submitted.
Major construction is underway on the Highway 1 bus-on-shoulder project, which will improve transit for people travelling between downtown Victoria and the Westshore.
Drivers are advised about an off-ramp closure along Highway 1 westbound near East 1st Avenue this week from Monday, June 9 until Friday, June 13, 2025.
Drivers are advised that Highway 4 will be temporarily closed near Cameron Lake on Wednesday, June 11, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for catchment cleanup and maintenance.
